Bird by Bird is an indie-rock-pop duo from Berkeley, CA consisting of singer/guitarist Jonathan Devoto (previously of the Matches) and drummer/singer Ross Traver. Their debut full-length album, "While You Sleep" is filled with catchy guitar hooks, powerful rhythms, and smart, moving lyrics delivered with passion. Devoto and Traver deliver a sonically impressive and visually captivating live show, drawing in audiences with their tight performances and intense fervor. Using live guitar loops and rich harmonies, the two-piece manage to create a sound as lush as most four or five-piece rock bands.
